At Motor Culture Australia, we love making dreams come true, and that’s precisely what happened when we set out to deliver an unforgettable prize to one of our lucky winners, Rob from WA – watch his live reaction!
Wes, an experienced road-tripper and the driver who took on the long drive, picked up Rob’s new prize – a brand new LandCruiser 300 Series GR and Wonderland Caravan from our showroom in Queensland and took it all the way to Western Australia over a 6 day trip. Hand delivering the keys to the new winner, Rob, who had just scored the ultimate adventure setup.
During Wes’s cross-country journey, he spoke to and met a number of Aussies who recognised the vehicle. While driving through the Aussie outback, Wes received a call over the UHF from a convoy of road train drivers. One asked if it was “the prize” from the online draw, Wes confirmed, and the driver joked, “Are you going to my house?”. Turns out the road train driver had his own entries in the draw and was pumped to see the Cruiser & Caravan in action. Another driver in the convoy chimed in, admitting he’d always wondered if people actually won—seeing it firsthand convinced him that Motor Culture Australia delivers the real deal.
Later on, during a night stop at BP Kambalda, a young worker on shift spotted the Cruiser & Caravan and asked Wes if that was from the Motor Culture Australia draw. When Wes confirmed, the guy shared that he also had entries in one of our other recent draws for an Audi. Another truckie Wes spoke to even mentioned that his cousins had won a 79 Series from us a year or so ago! It was clear that Motor Culture Australia had built a strong reputation across WA, with many people recognizing the giveaways and even knowing past winners.
Wes didn’t just drive the prize across Australia—he made sure Rob got the full VIP experience. He sent Rob daily updates, snapping pics of the Cruiser and Caravan along the way, even giving them a good wash before handing over the keys. Making sure that Rob’s first experience with his new adventure rig was nothing short of amazing.
After six days on the road, Wes finally arrived at Rob’s place in WA. Rob, a widower and hardworking dad to four kids (aged between 8 and 15), at the time was driving a 100 Series LandCruiser from the 90’s, alongside an old caravan. Which made this prize, a perfect upgrade for him and his family! When Wes arrived, Rob had rushed home from work, excited to see his new setup. After a quick celebration, he headed straight back to work—but not before taking a moment to check out his new adventure combo, and grabbing a quick pic!
And just like that, another Motor Culture Australia giveaway came to a perfect end. Rob and his kids now have the ultimate setup for their next adventure, and Wes has the memories of a road trip he’ll never forget.
